About Us

The Institute for International Political and Economic Strategies - RUSSTRAT was established in April 2020. Certificate of registration issued by the Ministry of Justice of Russia on April 29, 2020.

RUSSTRAT was created in order to develop strategic approaches to Russia's foreign policy that are compatible with its geopolitical and economic interests, including through research and development, and assistance in shaping Russia's political and economic strategies in the international arena.

RUSSTRAT contributes to the formation of Russia's international policy, international economic relations, the development of public diplomacy, the implementation of Russia's economic cooperation policy on a global scale to increase country competitiveness and the development of international cooperation.

To achieve these goals, RUSSTRAT analyzes global processes in the field of international politics and international economic relations, is engaged in medium and long-term planning, and international scientific cooperation.

Management

The director of the Institute, Panina Elena Vladimirovna, is a well-known Russian politician, member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the State Duma of the Russian Federation (United Russia fraction), chairman of the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, doctor of economic sciences, professor.

Institute Mission

The mission of the Institute is to ensure the national-state interests of Russia in the foreign policy sphere by the forces of a team of highly professional experts in various fields of human knowledge - politics, economics, the humanitarian sphere, ecology and so on. We provide professional and objective solutions based on in-depth knowledge of the subject of research.
