Another effort to create humanitarian corridors for the civilian population to exit dangerous areas towards Russia and Belarus was thwarted by Ukrainian nationalists. Information about the possibility of going out in the north and east direction is not brought to the population by the Ukrainian side. Gangs of nationalists block exits from large settlements.

The armed formations of Ukraine (UAF) continue shelling settlements in the DPR and LPR. In the Donetsk region, 26 attacks from MLRS, artillery and mortars were recorded. Six strikes were inflicted on six settlements of the Lugansk region. As a result of the shelling in the village of Golubovskoye, a high-voltage power line was damaged. The village of Donetsk also turned out to be de-energised.

The joint grouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the DPR and the LPR continued offensive actions in the western direction.

The People's Militia of the LPR recently established control over the city of Popasnaya. In the future, it is expected to complete the defeat of the UAF group in the area of Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, as well as the destruction of disparate gangs.

The People's Militia of the DPR established control over the settlements of Blizhneye and Tavla. The advance was four kilometres. The DPR troops also established control over five districts of Mariupol: Azovsky, Naidenovka, Lyapino, Vinogradar and reached the “Azovstal” plant. The Zapadny microdistrict was also taken under control.

During the special military operation, 2911 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine were destroyed. Including: 97 aircraft, 107 unmanned aerial vehicles, 141 anti-aircraft missile defence systems, 86 radar posts, 986 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 107 multiple rocket launchers, 368 field artillery and mortars, 749 units of special military vehicles.

In the Ukrainian Armed Forces heavy losses in aviation have led to a lack of information, including on the air situation, for the organisation and conduct of military operations. They are trying to compensate for it with information transmitted by NATO to the control point at the Gavrishovka airfield near the Ukrainian Vinnitsya. The data received from the E-3A aircraft of the AWACS-NATO system, conducting around-the-clock duty over Poland, is flocking there.

Countries unfriendly to Russia are transferring mercenaries to Ukraine. The arrival of the next non-combatants from Britain and Georgia was noted. The leading role in the transfer is played by the Mobilisation Center located in Warsaw. From the territory of Poland, militants arrive in organised groups in the Ukrainian Lvov.

Ukrainian diplomatic missions are actively involved in the recruitment of militants. The heroisation and corresponding apocalypticisation of these actions takes place under the guise of creating either an "international legion" or a "legion of territorial defence". Britain, Georgia, Denmark, Latvia, Poland, and Croatia have already taken part in the formation of the Legion. The Legion is also being strengthened by the arrival of employees of private military companies, including from the United States, to the combat zone. The amount of payment for almost legalised banditry is named - from $1000 to 2000 per day.

The US intends to increase spending to maintain the conflict. The US Congress approved the allocation of $13.6 billion for this purpose. 6.7 billion is intended for the deployment of additional US troops in Europe, as well as for the transfer of materiel to Ukraine and the allies of the United States. It can be assumed that the remaining part of the amount will be spent on direct payments to the next "freedom fighters".

Ukrainian neo-Nazis do not abandon attempts to commit sabotage that can lead to major man-made disasters.

According to the statement of the Deputy Minister of Defence of Russia, General of the Army Nikolay Pankov, the militants dealt a blow at the substation and power transmission line of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The attack was repelled by Russian servicemen. With the help of Russian and Belarusian specialists, the threat of an emergency shutdown of the control and cooling systems of nuclear reactors was prevented.

The militants plan to arrange another provocation with the use of highly active toxic substances in the Kharkov region. According to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, about 80 tons of ammonia were delivered to the village of Zolochev at night for this purpose.

The Russian leadership will seek an adequate response from the OPCW to the current situation.

The discussion of the topic related to biological laboratories located in Ukraine is being intensified. There is unequivocal evidence - the work of the laboratories was conducted under the leadership of the US Department of Defence.

The Russian Ministry of Defence continues to receive and analyse data on the classified work of the United States in the field of military biological activities on the territory of Ukraine. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Konashenkov, close attention is paid to the research work of the transfer of deadly biopathogens, including coronavirus by wild birds, bats and reptiles migrating between Russia, Ukraine and other countries.

The data is also confirmed by the statement of the US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland: "Ukraine has biological research facilities. We are concerned that Russian troops may try to take control of them, so we are working with the Ukrainians on how to prevent any of these research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces."

On the one hand, Nuland tried to deflect suspicions about US involvement in this work, saying that “Ukraine has it”. On the other hand, if the work is absolutely safe, then why hide them from the public?

During March 9, several more statements by the American leadership followed, allegedly confirming the non-participation of the American side in the development of biological weapons.

According to the statement of the head of the press service of the State Department, Ned Price, the United States does not control chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine.

At the same time, the press secretary of the US administration, Jen Psaki, said: "We have seen false statements being made by the Russian Federation about the alleged US laboratories in Ukraine for the production of biological and chemical weapons... Chinese officials repeat these conspiracy theories." She also added that Washington complies with international agreements on the prohibition of chemical and biological weapons.

However, American officials do not mention that it is their side that systematically blocks the implementation of the "Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction" (BTWC), approved by the UN and entered into force on March 26, 1975.

The Chinese leadership also demands immediate disclosure of information about the activities of military laboratories in Ukraine. This was stated by the press secretary of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Zhao Lijian.
