Where did the monkey of the "collective West" get a grenade?

"Monkey with a grenade". Phraseology has successfully entered folklore. The author is unknown. But it looks like they were a military man. How did two words merge in this idiomatic phrase? With this fundamental expression, popular wisdom, and in this case, military one, informs the addressee: insane people should not be given weapons, it may become deadly. However, why "may"? This is bound to become deadly. Of course, another analogy can be drawn. For a while we will consider this.

It's enough to watch this video. Four armed men are resting, having fun with a free-moving monkey. In the midst of the fun, one of them, at the instigation of the most cheerful member of the group, gives the monkey a machine gun. The third one "explains" to it with gestures and voice how to use weapons. Apparently, he is a born instructor. The fourth one exclaims: "No, no, no." But no one listens to him anymore. The animal turned out to be very savvy, and, taking a weapon in its paws, made four short bursts in the direction of the funny men. Naturally, they disappeared in the twinkling of an eye. However, neither people nor animals were injured when shooting this video.

The military man would say: this is a violation of the rules of handling weapons. The blatant one. The machine gun was loaded, not put on the safety, handed over to an outsider, and, as it turned out in reality, to a completely irresponsible "person". A civilian person could claim that there was a gross (again) violation of safety regulations.

And what can be said on a similar occasion about the still-active Ukrainian authorities and the attitude of the leaders of the "collective West" to this issue?

Yet again, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, touches on the topic of nuclear weapons. Like saying that we will pour the Budapest Memorandum with NATO's diesel fuel, burn it and immediately create a superweapon. And on March 4, there were reports of an attack by a Ukrainian sabotage group on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Our military repelled the attack. A hysterical message has already appeared on the network on behalf of, allegedly, someone from the staff of one of the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, to "pile up" fuel elements (TVEL) of the Westinghouse Electric Company LLC and arrange a nuclear Armageddon.

Here, of course, it is not particularly possible to believe that it was reported by someone from the station staff. Still, I would like to hope that only competent and adequate people are taken to work at facilities related to radioactive materials. On the other hand, anything is possible, isn't it? Therefore, I remember another folk wisdom - God help those who help themselves. Fuel rods alone are far from being hypothetical threat.

To put it simply, they were "adjusted" to Soviet standards by Westinghouse specialists. In the pedigree of this company there are a number of economic and, more importantly, design failures, recent bankruptcy and systematic change of ownership. There is one more remark. Westinghouse does not create turnkey nuclear power plants, like, for example, our Rosatom. This alone speaks about the level of competence, balance and seriousness of the approach to business.

Well, what are you going to do when the president is a drug addict, the fronts are cracking, and the people stop obeying? Everything is sadness, longing and hopelessness. But, as it turns out, not for everyone.

The United States promised the "state coups performers" $ 10 billion. The European Peace Fund (!) intends to pay for the supply of weapons to Ukraine in the amount of €450 million.

At the beginning of June 2020, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, made a proposal to create the fund. The fund was proposed to be created as an extra-budgetary one with a total asset size of up to eight billion euros by 2027. Funds are contributions from EU countries in proportion to the volume of national gross domestic products. This is not a complete list of sources replenishing the warehouses of "monkey grenades".

Spain and Italy have declared their material support for the Ukrainian regime. Guys, where are you off to? For example, we did not interfere in your internal affairs. We did not provoke or financially support the uprising in Spanish Catalonia in 2019. In 2020, we provided substantial assistance to the dying from coronavirus Italy. Note that it was the Russian government and the Russian Armed Forces provided assistance.

Weren't we making too posh gifts? No, here we are talking about Russia's desire to provide any civilised assistance to those in need. And, as it seems, we will continue to provide it to anyone who asks for it. Even now. Yes, we have recently (by historical standards) intervened in the internal affairs of one, no, two states. This is when the two Germanys were united. It seems that today's assessment of Berlin looks like this — so what? We didn't give a damn about these stupid feelings — gratitude, empathy, compassion. We are now the wooden soldiers of Urfin Jus and we do not know how to reason. 

It's said that Europeans do not understand at all what has been going on in the south-east of Ukraine for eight years. How so? After all, there was at least a mission of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. They saw everything, fixed it, passed it where it should be. Have their reports gone under the rug? Why? Because of one nutcase, the United States and Europe are ready to do  their utmost to humiliate Russia.

And in the east of Ukraine, 14,000 people, purely civilians, were ruthlessly exterminated, one of whose "fault" was that they wanted to live comfortably, the way they lived before. And to be in balance with their conscience. It seems that we and Europeans have different concepts about this very conscience. Where is the conscience of the OSCE, the European Union, the same separately taken Germany, Spain and Italy? For a while the situation is beyond the limits of understanding.
