The news site of the People's Liberation Army of China, “China Military”, published an article today entitled "Five doubts on 'Bucha incident'". Not only its arguments, but also the phrase in quotation marks in the title refute the monstrous lies of Western propaganda about the fault of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the death of residents of the town near Kiev.

We will briefly outline each of the doubts that the authors from the National University of Defence Technologies of the PLA of China have:

    1. Date mismatch

Russian troops were withdrawn from Bucha on March 30, but photos and videos of the "victims of the incident" appeared only four days later. At the same time, neither in the video of the smiling mayor of the city Anatoly Fedoruk from March 31, nor in the video of the National Guard of Ukraine from April 2, any dead on the streets are mentioned.

    2. The illogicality of the incident

At the beginning of the special military operation, Putin ordered his Army to protect the lives of civilians in Ukraine. Russian soldiers had no reason to tarnish their March image of restraint on the very eve of the completion of the first stage of the special operation. But even if they had done such a thing, they had plenty of time to remove all traces of the atrocity and not give Kiev a reason for accusations.

    3. Inconsistency with witnesses

The Internet was working near Kiev, local residents could use it — so if the Russians had really committed mass murders, information about it would have surfaced instantly. However, nothing of the kind happened. Moreover, according to Maxar Technologies satellite images, many bodies have been lying on the streets of Bucha for at least three weeks. It seems unreasonable that during this time they were not noticed by either locals or military commanders.

    4. The discrepancy of corpses

The "corpses" in the video do not look ossified, without necrotic spots and clotted blood — that is, as if people were killed just now, and not weeks ago. At the same time, a number of "corpses" do not show blood at all, and some of them, it seems, also moved. This speaks in favour of the version of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation about the staged provocation of Kiev. Moreover, according to the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva, the real mastermind of the staging was not Ukraine, but the British MI-6.

    5. The West's unwillingness to investigate the incident

Immediately after the incident, Russia offered to convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on this occasion, but its application was twice rejected by the UK. This did not fit into any logic of an impartial investigation, but it created a good background in favour of the West for suspending Russia's membership in the UN Human Rights Council on April 7.

Any accusations should be based on facts, China Military sums up after China's permanent representative to the UN Zhang Jun. The incident in Bucha has not been thoroughly investigated, and until the picture clears up, dear West, keep quiet on the sidelines - this is the general message of the article on the main resource of the Chinese army.
