The bloody sponsors of Ukraine
In the preparation and support of Ukraine's war against Russia, both our opponents distinguished themselves - the United States, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia - and countries that occupied neutral positions - Israel, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan.
Analysis of the special operation in Ukraine shows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have increased their level of combat training compared to 2014, when the self-defence forces could reach Kiev. Now the Ukrainian troops are able to effectively resist the Russian army. This became possible with the active support of a fairly wide range of states.

2014 can be considered as the starting point, when the active phase of supply and training of Ukrainian troops began.
The USA, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Slovakia, Israel, Turkey were engaged in direct training of Ukrainian servicemen. Moreover, the facts suggest that their participation began long before February of this year.
United States of America
The greatest effort in the preparation of the Ukrainian army was made by Washington. US Army General Joseph Hilbert announced the training of about 24,000 Ukrainian soldiers since 2015.
According to Washington Speaker John Kirby, the training was carried out in America, Germany and on the territory of Ukraine itself by the troops of the 53rd Infantry Brigade of the Florida National Guard. The main focus of training was working with radar, artillery and Western-style armoured vehicles, like the Abrams tanks. According to indirect information, the latter began to be prepared for use on the territory of Ukraine and painted in camouflage used for the temperate climate zone.
In Ukraine, instructors of the Florida National Guard began work at the end of October 2021 within the framework of the American JMTG-U program "Joint Multinational Training Group – Ukraine", consisting of representatives of the USA, Canada, Lithuania, Denmark and Sweden. The training program includes the study of combat tactics, individual training, the work of headquarters and tactical medicine. Since 2015 approximately 6,000 Ukrainian servicemen have been trained.
According to available information, since 2015, the US forces have trained more than 700 Ukrainian instructors and about 8000 UAF servicemen as part of the ORBITAL, JMTG-U, UNIFIER training missions (in 2018 alone 300 instructors and 3,500 servicemen were trained).
The list of weapons transferred to Ukraine is also extensive: 121 Phoenix Ghost UAVs, five Mi-17 helicopters, three patrol boats, four tracking radars, 800 Stinger anti-aircraft systems, 2600 Javelin, 1000 light anti-tank guns and 6000 AT-4 anti-tank systems, 70 HMMWV, about 100 tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, grenade launchers, 5000 rifles, 1000 pistols, 400 machine guns, more than 40 million rounds of ammunition for small arms, grenade and mortar rounds, 25,000 sets of body armour, as well as 25,000 helmets.
Poland is in second place in terms of the scale of assistance
The words of the Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson, Polish political scientist Konrad Rękas, Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna allow us to state about the training of Ukrainian forces on its territory. Since 2015, according to the statement of the representative of the Polish government Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Polish military bases have accepted Ukrainian army instructors for specialised training.
Polish interests in Ukraine have been voiced for a long time, which is why Poland has been participating in military operations on the territory of Ukraine against the Russian army for a long time, providing not only volunteers, but also military personnel. Moreover, their number will grow, as more and more NATO weapons, the training of handling of which takes time, are supplied to Ukraine. It is much easier to send ready-made "specialists" than to retrain Ukrainian ones.
In addition to military personnel, specialists of the Polish PMCs European Security Academy are used for training, teaching subversive work and skills in carrying out diversions and sabotage actions, that is, sabotage, possibly on our territory.
In addition, Poland was actively engaged in promoting NATO standards: back in 2015, the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian military brigade (LITPOLUKRBRIG) was formed, consisting of an international headquarters, three battalions and specialised units.
The issue of military equipment supplies is also not spared: 28 MiG-29 aircraft, 232 T-72-M1 tanks, several dozen BMP-1s, as well as 122-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S1 "Gvozdika" and 122-mm MLRS BM-21 "Grad", portable Piorun air defence systems and small reconnaissance unmanned FlyEye aircraft manufactured by the Polish company WB Electonics.
Poland is also the main logistics contributor, providing the transfer of weapons, military equipment, and equipment through the Polish airfields of Rzeszów and Lublin. Then it is loaded onto trains or trucks.
Turkey is in third place
The production and use of Turkish Bayraktars in Ukraine is widely known, but it is less known that the operators of the first raids were Turks, that Bozkurtlar militants in large numbers (note: at least 2,000 militants, "grey wolves", a pro-Turkish ultra-right militant organisation) are fighting with might and main on the territory of Ukraine.
Information about this is taken not only from sources from the DPR and the LPR, but also from "Western" ones, including the monitoring network "Nordic Monitor", which talks about the training of the Ukrainian military by the Turks, starting from 2016.
The Turks trained UAV operators and special forces soldiers. The training took place in Turkey. Later, the Turkish military began to train UAF soldiers in Ukraine. Training takes place in the Ukrainian rear, on the front line, and on the territory of Turkey.
The results of the Turkish military work are visible by the fact of changing the tactics used by the UAF. Similar tactics were used by the Azerbaijani military (note: they were also trained by the Turks, and not only trained, but they also led the fighting in Karabakh). The information from the hacker group Beregini, where it follows from a letter from the chief of the Ukrainian military unit A0987, Major General Grigory Galagan, that the Turks trained the Ukrainian military in combat operations in the conditions of the city, goes in the same piggy bank. That is, Mariupol and other settlements as well as the "human shields" cover, is not a Ukrainian development.

This is not the end of Turkey's participation, although just a few days ago information appeared online that Turkey classified data on military supplies.
Nevertheless, it became known that Ukraine can receive from Turkey 12 MLRS M270 MLRS and MGM-140 ATACMS of American production. The range of their use allows for a strike on the territory of Russia, including the Crimean Bridge.
Great Britain is in fourth place
It is precisely British instructors on the territory of the Foggy Albion, Poland, and Ukraine itself who trained and are teaching dozens of Ukrainian soldiers how to use armoured personnel carriers and anti-aircraft missiles.
They also trained the "marines" according to the program of the ORBITAL training mission in the following areas: a course for training junior sergeants, a course for reconnaissance, counter-sniper combat and conducting combat operations at night.
In addition to training, London handed over at least 120 armoured vehicles to Kiev, including 80 Mastiff, Husky and Wolfhound combat armoured personnel carriers.
Fifth place is for Germany
According to the Bloomberg news agency, Germany is training the UAF servicemen to work with artillery and UAVs in the German Grafenwoehr.
Despite the disagreement of the Bundeswehr, Germany is preparing to transfer Cobra artillery radar stations to ensure the effective use of Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers, as well as the howitzers themselves. By the way, the Cobra radar refers to anti-battery means and is able to identify the coordinates of up to 40 firing positions within two minutes.
Sixth place is for Israel
Given what Tel Aviv can say about bias, in the analysis we use Israeli sources themselves, as well as sources of their opponents, including Hamas.
For example, the Hamas website "Palestinian Information Center" with reference to the Israeli newspaper "Yediot Ahronot" reports that retired Israeli officers and veterans of the special forces "Sayeret Matkal" are actively engaged in training Ukrainian fighters in the west of Ukraine, in particular on the use of Israeli weapons. Given that many call the Israeli intelligence services the best in the world, it is worth considering that if this is not prevented, then at least it is tacitly approved.
The chief Rabbi of Kiev and Ukraine Moshe Reuven Asman also claims about the "Israeli trail" in an interview with the Lvov news agency zaxid.net. The latter reported that there are about 200 mercenaries - citizens of Israel, on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The topic that has been started is continued by one of the accomplices of the genocide of Russians – Israeli citizen Tzvi Arieli, now an instructor of the brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, who announced the participation of about 300 IDF special forces soldiers in Euromaidan and later as snipers and instructors at the invitation of the same "chief rabbi of Kiev". The mentioned Israeli citizen was involved in the formation of the Jewish self-defence squad of Kiev, then created a similar structure in Mariupol.
The Jerusalem Post mentions the planned arms deliveries, including Israel's approval of the supply of Blue Spear anti-ship complexes and Spike NLOS ATGMs to Ukraine. The list can be supplemented with the Barak-8 air defence system, Harop kamikaze drones, Spike NLOS ATGM, and Lora tactical missile systems.
The next group of countries are less involved in maintaining the military machine of Ukraine compared to the states "higher" on the list, focusing on the repair of military equipment, as well as logistics. But it would also be wrong to downplay their role.
Slovakia, which plans to start training the Ukrainian military on its territory only this year, is at the top of the list. In addition, the press secretary of the Ministry of Defence Martin Koval-Kakashnikov reported on the agreement reached on the repair and modernisation of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the defence enterprises of Slovakia. More specifically, we are talking about the modernisation of BRDM-2 armoured vehicles by the state joint stock company Konštrukta-Defence.
In addition to the facts of training and repairs, there is intelligence that Slovakia, following the example of Poland, has become a transport hub to Ukraine. In particular, through the Chop border checkpoint on the border of Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine began to pass heavy military equipment.
The Bulgarian Parliament also decided to repair Ukrainian military equipment at its military enterprises, as well as to continue the supply of medicines, clothing and food.
From April 2022, the Ministry of Defence Latvia trains the Ukrainian military to work with drones. The UAF is being supplied with unmanned aerial vehicles, which serve as reconnaissance means for both company and brigade units.
Romania provides sea transit of the Constanta port to Odessa, which has become a logistics hub for the ground forces and a point of acceptance and distribution of Western weapons entering the country from Constanta.
The third group of countries are the states that supply Ukraine with fuel so necessary for military equipment. It includes Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Diesel from Kazakhstan comes through the joint-stock company "National Company "KazMunayGas", accountable to and owned by the government of Kazakhstan. Oil arrives by sea to Romania. It is processed there at the factories of the Rompetrol company, which is not Romanian at all, but Kazakh. Diesel fuel was delivered to Ukraine by rail.
In addition to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan is engaged in fuel supplies. The already mentioned transit scheme through "third" countries is used. Deliveries are carried out through Turkey, then by sea to Ukraine.
As a result, the states that support the fuel of war can be divided according to the criteria:
a) training of military personnel, delivery of weapons and military equipment: USA, Poland, Turkey, Britain, Germany, Israel;
b) repair, modernisation of weapons and military equipment, logistics: Slovakia, Bulgaria, Latvia;
c) fuel supply: Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that among the ones mentioned above, Turkey and Israel deserve the most attention. Both states declare their neutrality, while - somewhere directly and somewhere else indirectly - supporting hostilities. In similar situations, they themselves are outraged by the supply of military equipment up to an international scandal. As an example, the statements of Israeli diplomats about the lifting of the arms embargo from Iran, or about the sale of F-35 fighter jets to Qatar.
It should not be forgotten that many people live by the principle of "nothing personal, just business". The arms trade is extremely profitable, and it is quite difficult to get away from a possible major benefit, especially when inflation is breaking all records (as in Turkey). Of course, there are economic and geopolitical interests and ambitions. Maybe the example is not entirely correct, but I think the meaning will be clear: you cannot remain good by selling drugs to the children of neighbours.
In this regard, we need to reconsider relations with many countries that support Ukraine in one way or another. China is unlikely to actively help us in this regard, moving forward in economic and political directions. Iran's help can be an extremely tangible aid, especially if it helps neutralise military assistance to Ukraine from Turkey and Israel. Being in a similar isolation, it understands perfectly well what it's like and can take such a step, up to military support.
In turn, we can raise Iran's military-industrial complex and defence potential, ensure its advancement in nuclear and other industries. Time will tell whether China or other countries will take part in this. The same China should understand that if we are eliminated as a rival, they will be the next in line. Only then there will be no allies left to help them.
