An internal front is being prepared for Russia

In conditions when it is impossible to break Russia with external aggression, Western politicians are preparing the internal destabilisation of Russia

During his speech at the 30th Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defence Policy, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, describing the current situation, explained that the "collective West" has declared total hybrid war on us. This is not an exaggeration at all, French Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire announced a total economic and financial war against Russia back in March this year.

The fight against dangers from the outside is obvious to everyone and the readiness for it is higher, at the same time, the fight on the internal front has always been the most difficult, and it is precisely this internal front of the struggle that the Western countries are trying to organise for us now.

During his visit to Europe, after Russia launched the special military operation in Ukraine, on March 26, US President Joe Biden said that Russian President Vladimir Putin could not remain in power. A little later, a White House spokesman explained that Biden did not call for a change of power in Russia: "The President believes that Putin should not be allowed to exercise power over his neighbours."

However, it should be understood that Biden's statement is by no means an impromptu of an elderly man, shocking the public with his speeches. Speaking in Warsaw, he read the prepared text from a teleprompter, it's just that one of the authors of this speech was too frank. The official authorities in the West are not ready to go into a direct conflict with Russia, as this is fraught with a third world war and therefore publicly they deny their intentions to change power in Russia.

"Regime change in Russia is not a NATO goal," explained German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. "We are not seeking regime change in Moscow." "But let me be clear: a weakened Russia is a consequence of Putin's decision to launch an unjustified invasion," said Liz Truss, the head of the British Foreign Ministry.

All these statements do not inspire any confidence. Back on December 7, 2021, during a testimony in the US Senate, Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland explained that isolation of Russia from the global financial system, with all the ensuing consequences for Russian business and its population was planned. At the same time, Reuters, citing an unnamed official of the White House administration, reported that the sanctions being developed would have a serious impact on Russian consumers, production activities and employment.

It is also worth paying attention to the publication in the American magazine The Atlantic, authored by a former adviser to the US State Department. Earlier, in March 2021, before the start of all the aggravations in Ukraine, I drew readers' attention to one of the articles of former American diplomats in which they shared their plans for Ukraine, and I summarised that the United States would try to take revenge there and take this country under its control.

This time, a former American official from the pages of The Atlantic magazine says bluntly that the United States should signal to the elite in Russia that the country has no future under the presidency of Vladimir Putin. Russia under Vladimir Putin is a deeply dangerous state, the article says.

It is in the West's interests to keep Russia weak, internally divided and militarily powerless. In such conditions, the "Liberalising revolution" may come, but there is no reason to act as if it has already come or is inevitable, the author believes.

Therefore, even when the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is settled and official sanctions are lifted, it makes sense to discourage Western companies from doing business there in every possible way in order to cause discontent among the population.

Thus, the United States has not hidden and does not hide that they want to put pressure on ordinary Russians in order for them to change the policy of the Russian leadership, and possibly the entire leadership. Now US Senator Lindsey Graham, explaining the need to allocate $40 billion to Ukraine, says that there is a chance to defeat Russia. Otherwise, its actions will change the face of Europe and give "wrong signals" to China. He does not hesitate to say that one of the goals of the United States is a change of power in Russia.

Lindsey Graham is a 66-year-old neocon, a representative of the very "deep state" of the United States, which kept a Russophobic track during the presidency of Donald Trump and has previously stated that Vladimir Putin should be removed from power. Of course, he is not alone in the US Congress, the bill on the allocation of $40 billion to Ukraine was adopted by the House of Representatives by an overwhelming majority of 388 "for" and 57 "against".

A veteran of US foreign policy, Henry Kissinger, in an interview with the Financial Times, said that the United States is forced to engage in regime change in authoritarian countries due to the fact that authoritarian regimes are multiplying new types of increasingly destructive and technically sophisticated weapons that can threaten the United States. Naturally, all this was said with reference to the confrontation between the United States and Russia in Ukraine.

However, the reign of the neocons and this approach to foreign policy in the United States is coming to an end. Senator Rand Paul, by introducing his amendment to the bill, temporarily blocked the allocation of $40 billion to Kiev. Explaining his actions, he said that he did not want Ukraine to succeed at the cost of US bankruptcy.

Other representatives of the Republican Party have also publicly spoken out against financial assistance to Ukraine due to the fact that spending dollars on another country, the federal government is unable to control the border with Mexico, and young parents cannot find infant formula for their children.

Donald Trump Jr. and the new Republican candidates are categorically against helping Ukraine, explaining that the money will go to war and corrupt officials in the United States itself. Ohio Senate candidate J. D. Vance, who won the Republican Party primaries, was the only one among the contenders who opposed American intervention in the situation in Ukraine.

Even the New York Times newspaper, which has always adhered to the point of view of the US Democratic Party on the issue of providing 40 billion in aid to Ukraine, focuses on how easily American lawmakers from both parties give taxpayers' money to another country, although more recently they fought against each other on financing their own citizens, trying to balance costs.

All this suggests that the current ruling elites in the United States do not have much time, since the problems of the United States require urgent solutions. Therefore, they are starting to promote the situation of the destabilisation of Russia right now. For example, the US CIA has distributed instructions in Russian language explaining how to get in touch with them on the Internet.

The CIA asks those who use the instructions to indicate their full name, their official position and what access they have to information of interest to US intelligence. According to the Washington Post, the instruction was published in connection with the desire of American intelligence to establish contact with Russians "concerned" about the special military operation in Ukraine. Thus, the American side intends to intensify the recruitment of Russians.

The director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, said that the US State Department instructed controlled non-governmental organisations to launch a campaign to discredit in Russian society the military operation in Ukraine.

The general message spread on social networks is that Ukraine, with the support of the West, is about to inflict a crushing defeat on Russia, and "only a large-scale civil protest is supposedly able to save the country from an imminent catastrophe”.

For his part, the cynicism of the situation was described by the Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov: "The horror is that well-known politicians (USA), whom I used to respect enough, whose knowledge I highly valued, publish calls in the American media for Russian diplomats and the military to side with the so-called democracy. In essence, my comrades are being pushed into betrayal, which in any country is regarded as an abominable act," he said on the air of Solovyov Live.

"My comrades and embassy staff are receiving threats, including ones with physical assault. And the figures of the American intelligence agencies are wandering around the Russian embassy, handing out the phone numbers of the FBI and the CIA, which they offer to call to establish contact for "cooperation". Targeted mailings, announcements with addresses of intelligence agencies and invitations to respond to these appeals are received on mobile phone numbers," Antonov said.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the American Radio Liberty, which is listed by the Ministry of Justice of Russia on the list of media performing the functions of a foreign agent, introduces the idea that "Russian elites understand that the war is lost”. However, the German state broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) has now "pulled out of mothballs" Mikhail Kasyanov, a former Russian statesman who has now left Russia and is hiding his whereabouts in Europe.

In the above interview, it was the DW journalist who set the tone with a bias towards the change of power in Russia.

Kasyanov himself expressed the hope that Western sanctions would affect the middle class of Russians with permanent Internet access, and through this communication channel Kasyanov's supporters would be able to influence the situation in Russia to change the current government.

Thus, it is obvious that the current level of Western agitation calling for a change of power in Russia has already surpassed the level of Soviet times. Undisguised agitation is being conducted not only against ordinary Russians, but even against diplomats and civil servants.

Russia is now in a situation where external pressure cannot break it and only an internal explosion can split the country. The Russian people just need to be patient and wait out the storm of the world order collapsing because Russia has all the resources necessary for this. Then the people will not have to rebuild the country from the wreckage, which has already happened in our history, but it will be possible to build a new world order based on the interests of Russia.
