The West is digging a grave for the Kiev regime with its own hands

By supplying Ukraine with increasingly powerful and long-range weapons systems, the West is encouraging Russia to totally cleanse the entire Ukrainian territory

On June 5, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his first interview since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, was asked a question about the decision of US President Joe Biden to supply the Kiev regime with multiple rocket launchers. Vladimir Putin, in his response, drew attention to the fact that at the beginning of its operation, Ukraine had 515 MLRS of the "Grad", "Tornado" and "Uragan" type with a range of 40-70 kilometres, and that American systems also have a range within 45-70 kilometres.

The head of the Russian state noted that 380 Ukrainian MLRS were destroyed, but "some of them have been restored, taken from stocks, as we understand, and they have about 360 in stock”. Therefore, "we are talking about restoring what was lost and destroyed during the fighting”. The same thing applies to the supply of Western-made barrel artillery systems to Ukraine - to compensate for losses.

Let me remind you that the United States decided to transfer four 227-mm MLRS M142 HIMARS launchers (a lightweight wheeled version of the M270 MLRS) to Ukraine. Each of them has six launch containers for missiles of the M26, M30/M31 series. The engagement range, depending on the type of missile, is in the range of 32-70 kilometres. The most advanced missile is the M31 GMLRS, it has satellite guidance. Its flight range is up to 70 kilometres.

Now let's look at the quantitative parameters of supplies of Western-made MLRS to Ukraine. The US will send only four M142 HIMARS launchers in the first batch. By the end of June 2022, Germany will transfer to Ukraine four MARS II MLRS (German designation of the upgraded M270 MLRS) with the possibility of using guided missiles M31 GMLRS.

Britain, as usual, is ahead of the locomotive. London wants to deliver the upgraded M270B1 MLRS faster than anyone else and has already requested permission from the United States. The quantity will be comparable to the American supply, according to updated data – three launchers. The British Army now has 44 combat vehicles of the M270B1 MLRS complex.

Thus, we are talking about the delivery to Ukraine within a month or two of about 12 of the HIMARS/MLRS type. Of the total number of Ukrainian MLRS, from 360, this will be less than 3%. It is obvious that such a number of radical changes in the war against Russia cannot be achieved. However, they will certainly cause trouble for our army, primarily because of the increased pinpoint accuracy.

By the way, Ukrainian sources gave average figures for the time of use of Western-made equipment. It turned out that 5-10% of the equipment does not reach the front line (it is knocked out by the blows of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation), about 35% of the total amount goes out of order on the front line during the first week, within a month all the delivered equipment almost comes to naught. It turns out that a batch of foreign weapons on the territory of Ukraine "lives" for about a month or so.

It should be noted that there are options for more advanced equipment of the MLRS M142 HIMARS (M270 MLRS): GMLRS-ER missile with a range of 150 kilometres (production starts from 2022), ATACMS tactical ballistic missile with a range of up to 300 kilometres and a promising PrSM missile with a range of more than 500 kilometres (it is being tested).

On June 5, 2022, the President of Russia also answered the question of what our country will do in case of delivery of long–range missiles to these systems: "If they are delivered, we will draw appropriate conclusions from this and use our means of destruction, which we have in sufficient quantity to strike at those objects at which we are not striking yet."

By the way, a famous Russian journalist noted that Vladimir Putin did not name the country. Let's take the statement of the President of Russia more carefully and assume that we are still talking about Ukraine and the decision-making centres on its territory. And these include the buildings of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the SBU and other law enforcement and paramilitary structures, the Office of the President, the Government House, the Verkhovna Rada, the Central Bank building, etc.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke very well about the supply of long-range weapons systems during an online conference on June 6, 2022: "Russian President Vladimir Putin has already commented on the situation that will develop in connection with the arrival of new weapons, I can only add: the more long-range weapons you [the West] will supply, the further we will move away from our territory the line beyond which neo-nazis can threaten the Russian Federation."

On the same day, the head of the State Duma Committee on Defence Andrey Kartapolov also spoke on this topic: "Russia will react, as our president, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief [Vladimir Putin] said, by striking those objects which we have so far refrained from striking. Kiev airport is functioning, train stations, main railway lines, automobile bridges and much more are functioning, not to mention the authorities, because, after all, there was not single blow to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, nor to the General Staff, nor to the Verkhovna Rada and other ministries where decisions are made and tasks are set."

However, decision-making centres are not only infrastructure, they are primarily people who make decisions, and key figures may not be in these buildings. Since strategic-level decisions on Ukraine are made in Washington and London, it means the impact on the operational-level management link, which is located on Ukrainian territory.

At the same time, if we talk about personalities, decision makers, then we should not focus exclusively on political figures, but pay special attention to the Ukrainian oligarchs who actively support the Kiev nazi regime. For example, Rinat Akhmetov set out to subject Russia to a multibillion-dollar claim for damages for “Azovstal”. And the Ukrainian oligarchs are mostly located outside Ukraine, and here the issue cannot be solved by “Iskander”, more subtle work of intelligence agencies is required.

Returning to the Ukrainian territory, I would like to note that the demolition of government and departmental buildings will deprive the usual scheme of governing the country, but will not completely destroy it. Attention should also be paid to the nodal points of energy, transport, payment infrastructure, communication infrastructure, data centres and data warehouses. Defeating these objects, figuratively speaking, will return Ukraine to the Stone Age.

In such an execution, it will be a completely different special military operation, in which no intermediate option is possible, only the complete defeat of the Kiev nazi regime.

In the meantime, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are not fighting against the country as an organisational structure, but only against the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other paramilitary agencies. War with one hand. And in this format it will be protracted.

However, the West, in impotent anger, changes the conflict scenario itself. By supplying Ukraine with more and more powerful and long-range weapons systems, the United States and its allies are digging the grave of the nazi Zelensky regime with their own hands, leading it to a total cleaning of the entire Ukrainian territory. And this is the logic of increasing escalation: for every action of the opponent (Ukraine) Russia will respond with a stronger counter-action, which, in the end, will lead to a crushing defeat of Kiev.
